Head in the clouds:

Brussels museums and their rooftop terraces

Every time the sun chases away the clouds, we’re reminded: summer isn’t over yet! After that, we can hope for a gentle autumn, a welcome and true late summer. In short, the coming months offer the perfect opportunity to head to museums with rooftop terraces. Not only can you enjoy the museum collections first, but at the end of your visit you can bask in beautiful weather and stunning views. Discover different panoramas from all corners of Brussels, each with a horizon of its own!

  • Bozar – Centre for Fine Arts: Have a look at Rue Ravenstein from above, reserved only for the summer months.
  • KBR Museum: Enjoy the view of the Mont des Arts from a different perspective, preferably with a drink in your hand.
  • WIELS: With the local swamp below and train tracks fanning out like the legs of a spider, this is without a doubt one of the highlights of Forest.
  • The Black Sisters Museumil: after your visit, take the elevator to the panoramic platform of the Koekelberg Basilica and enjoy a magnificent view
  • Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History: a terrace atop the triumphal arch in Jubelpark – a must-see in Brussels!
  • Belgian Beer World: A museum visit that ends with a Belgian beer on the roof of the Bourse building, right next to the Grand Place of Brussels.
