Brussels Museums is the network that connects over 125 museums across the Brussels-Capital Region.
Since our establishment in 1995, our role has evolved to better meet the needs of the museums.
Today, the core missions of Brussels Museums are:
- connecting museums by facilitating meetings, exchanging best practices, and sharing current sector information
- representing and defending the interests of the museums as the reference partner, studying the sector’s impact and challenges
- enhancing the visibility of museums through public events and communication actions, like our projects Museum Night Fever and the Nocturnes
- guiding museums towards greater accessibility, inclusivity, and sustainability with initiatives such as Open Museum and Green Museum.
