Nocturnes 2024: the perfect opportunity to discover the Brussels museums in an accessible, affordable, and original way

Emilia Van Roy

There’s something for everyone during this 23rd edition of the Nocturnes. Every Thursday evening from April 11th to May 23rd, you can explore several Brussels museums exceptionally outside opening hours (between 5 pm and 10 pm) at a discounted price (max. €6 per museum).

What’s on the programme this year?

On the Nocturnes website, you’ll discover all the participating museums and the full range of activities, such as original guided tours, an exclusive behind-the-scenes look or inspiring workshops. How about visiting the Horta Pavilion of Human Passions, during its exceptional opening to the public? Or joining a Manneken Pis themed tattoo workshop, navigating through darkness with candles or flashlights, or workshops on tango, making fanzines, Morse code, cinema projection, and much more.

Additionally, there are some new museums, such as Belgian Beer World, or museums that will soon close for an extended period of renovation, e.g. the Jewish Museum of Belgium and the KBR. Feeling the spring vibes? There are also various museums offering outdoor activities, such as the Meise Botanic Garden, FeliX Art & Eco Museum or Maison Cauchie.

Get your tickets quickly via nocturnes.brussels. Feeling overwhelmed by all the choices, can’t get enough, or searching for an after-work idea? Then the Nocturnes Pass with 3+1 free ticket is perfect for you.

TIP: various discount rates apply, and you can also use your Art Nouveau Pass at partner locations.

Are you already in the festive mood? Then come to our opening night on April 11th in the courtyard of the Brussels City Hall. You can participate for free in several activities such as a a giant board game and a guided tour to all the locations of the first Nocturnes evening.

See you then!
