Cultural Mediation Week for the Reopening of the Spontaneous Art Museum

Emilia Van Roy

The Spontaneous Art Museum is reopening its doors on 3 April after several months of transformation.

In collaboration with Arts&Publics, they are launching an inaugural week from Tuesday 31 March to Sunday 5 April 2026, bringing together art brut, naïve art and contemporary creativity. Their new exhibition, Connexions spontanées, highlights ten artists from the collection and offers a dynamic route combining video capsules, immersive podcasts and a collaborative artwork built by visitors in Minecraft and later integrated into the museum.

Pour 50c, t’as de l’Art: 3 days for recurring groups

From 31 March to 2 April, they welcome their Pour 50c, t’as de l’Art” groups — children and adults in vulnerable or precarious situations — for guided tours, Minecraft workshops and open creative spaces. These days are reserved exclusively for recurring community groups and cannot be joined individually.

Opening evening

On 3 April, the museum officially reopens to the wider public. From 6pm, the Opening / Happening evening will feature performances, improvisation, live music and dance, echoing the museum’s raw, free and spontaneous spirit.

Theatre & Families Weekend

On 4 and 5 April, a family weekend offers creative workshops, a Minecraft area, the collective creation of a giant goose‑board game and two participatory performances inspired by Alice in Wonderland. A perfect opportunity for all visitors to explore, create and imagine together.
