This 1.5-hour session takes place entirely in the exhibition space and invites participants to engage actively with Lutz Bacher’s universe through observation, collage, and experimentation.
The session begins with a guided tour of Burning the Days. Moving through the exhibition, participants discover how Lutz Bacher brings objects, images, and found materials together to create new meanings and associations. Particular attention is given to fragments, unexpected associations, popular references, and imaginaries linked to the moon, the stars, and the stories surrounding them.
In the second part, participants take part in a collage workshop within the exhibition itself. Using salvaged materials and older or instant reproduction techniques, they experiment freely with images, layering, and transformation. The workshop starts from familiar or popular questions, such as what lies on the dark side of the moon or whether humans really walked there, allowing new compositions and narratives to emerge.
The session ends with a short collective sharing moment.
