Museums of the Far East

The Museums of the Far East gather 3 peculiar architectural realizations of the Belgian King Leopold II: a Japanese Tower, a Chinese Pavillon and an authentic Museum of Japanese Art.

The Museums of the Far East are closed for renovation at the moment.
The Federal Buildings Agency is supervising the renovation project of the entire site. The three buildings being closed to the public, some of the masterpieces from the collection have been transported to the Art & History Museum whereas some of the Chinese porcelain is now on view in the Chinese galleries at the Art & History Museum.
