The Fashion & Lace Museum invites you to a total sensory experience that combines style and performance.
Immerse yourself in 40 + years of STIJL! The exhibition looks at the vital role the Brussels boutique STIJL has played in the emergence of Belgian fashion since the 1980s by serving as a springboard for the Antwerp Six and many other avant-garde talents.
During this very special evening, you can expect to be carried away by dance performances, vibrant catwalk shows and silhouettes that reinterpret shapes, volumes, and materials.
As they interact with the museum’s spaces, the dancers of Maison Maurice Béjart explore the contrast between architectural rigidity and bodily fluidity. Each movement is enhanced by carefully selected costumes , playing on textures, cuts and accessories to maximise the show’s expressiveness and stimulate the senses.
The evening concludes in an electrifying, ultra-cool club atmosphere where fashion and dance merge in a whirlwind of creativity and freedom.
