For Sonic Dark Goya, iconoclastic sound artist Francisco López finds inspiration in the dark work of his illustrious compatriot Goya – from his series of etchings Los Caprichos to the famous Black Paintings. Like Goya, López is an uncompromising artist. For almost forty years, he has been developing a completely personal sonic universe based on deep listening to the world. López explores the limits of perception and proposes a profound and transcendental listening experience, open to sensory and spiritual expansion. During the brand-new performance, the audience sits blindfolded in a circle around the artist and undergoes a profound listening experience.
