Come to the Design Museum Brussels on November 16, 2025, for Children’s Arts Day and take part in a comic strip workshop with your family.

Do you like drawing and have crazy ideas? Together with comic strip artist Karolina Szejda, we will dive into the world of comic strips. We will imagine and draw our own comic strip story in which we design furniture that is not only beautiful but also has superpowers! How about a walking bed, a teleportation chair, or a cupboard that dispenses endless amounts of candy?

Make the most of your visit by also visiting the exhibition Design and Comics: Living in a Box, which explores the relationship between design and the world of comics, before or after the workshop.

In collaboration with the Dutch Library of Laeken and on the occasion of Children ​‘s Arts Day (https://​www​.uit​in​vlaan​deren​.be/​k​u​n​s​t​e​n​d​a​g​-​v​o​o​r​-​k​i​n​deren).

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- 2 pm. > 3 pm.: workshop for children aged 6-9 with (grand)parents, tutors, etc.
- 3:30 pm. > 4:30 pm.: workshop for children aged 9-12 with (grand)parents, tutors, etc.
