Prepare for a bubbly, British weekend at the Comic Art Museum!
As part of our partnership with the Lakes International Comic Art Festival, the Comic Strip Museum is welcoming five authors from the United Kingdom to introduce the public to the richness and diversity of contemporary British comic strips.
The ‘British Comics Now’ event programme includes a variety of activities for young and old alike: workshops, meetings, performances, and Museum Night Fever: live drawing performances set to music by the HarmonieOrkest Brussel orchestra.
Programme :
- 18/10 - 14-16h : KIDS - Collage comics workshop : “Collaging memories”
- 18/10 - 16-18h : ADULTS - Workshop : Movement in action scenes and composition (layout and panel) registration required, here. Panel with comic book authors Shane Melisse and Lucy Sullivan.
- 18/10 - 19 - 01h : Museum Night Fever : Live-drawing & Orchestra
- 19/10 - 11-13h : KIDS - Workshop How to make awesome comics
- 19/10 - 14-16h : FAMILY - Live portraits of the visitors
