Art, a question of gender?
Gender has been a topic of research and discussion for about fifty years. This autumn, using examples from our collections — from Lucas I Cranach to Evelyne Axell — we ask how images and artworks either support or challenge clichés and stereotypes. We explore themes like couples and the roles or symbols linked to men and women. This visit is a chance to see many different points of view from those who create and/or those who look.
