On Wednesday 1 July, we invite you for an evening with French artist Pierre Jean Giloux and curator Gregory Lang around Biomimetic Stories, a video cycle and publication imagining urban futures shaped by ecology, technology and climate change.

Four short films set in India. A newly released publication. A conversation about how cities and societies might evolve in a world undergoing deep environmental transformation.

Notably, in his film Biomimetic stories #2 Madurai, 2024, the artist proposes innovative canopy infrastructure solutions designed to reduce extreme heat in cities, a critical response to both Indian and global warming trends.

The evening takes place in resonance with the exhibition Is That All There Is? currently on view at Cloud Seven, and closes with drinks and book presentation at the bar.

19:00 – 19:30 — Screening of the four films composing Biomimetic Stories
19:30 – 20:00 — Conversation with Pierre Jean Giloux and Gregory Lang
