Winter’s Night - Jang Woojin

Following his previous films A Fresh Start (2014) and Autumn, Autumn (2016), Jang Woo-jin now tells the story of the relationship between a husband and wife in the city of Chuncheon. Two narrative times are intertwined when the visit to a famous temple becomes a trip into the fifty-something couple’s past. Across an alcohol-filled night, during which the two of them have a series of sobering encounters before the backdrop of waterfalls and snowy neon-lit landscapes, the question arises as to what has become of their love.
