“To escape figuration, we must rediscover sensation” – Gilles Deleuze
As part of the exhibition Naked! The First Prizes of the Academy of Brussels, three models pose live and engage in dialogue with visitors. Christophe Jaccard, Sébastien Lattuga and Catherine Rouvier invite the public to observe, listen and draw – offering an hour-long exploration of the essential role of models in artistic practice. A unique experience where living art takes centre stage.
In this performance-workshop, contemporary models step onto the museum stage to highlight their profession, creating a rare dialogue between past and present. Echoing this live experience, visitors are also invited to discover the largely anonymous models of the 19th century in the capsule exhibition ‘Naked!’.
