The Albert Couvreur pharmaceutical collection brings together pharmacy furniture dating from around 1800, forty mortars in bronze, copper, cast-iron and stone, instruments and devices for preparing medicines, pharmaceutical earthenware from numerous European countries (15th to 19th century), as well as precious medical tomes, pharmacopeia and a library of 750 works from the 16th to the 20th century, all of equal interest to the novice and the specialist.
