ING Art Center

Private collection that's sure to conquer hearts for over 30 years.

The art collection of the Belgian branch of the financial institution ING originated as a private collection in the beginning of the 1960’s composed by bank manager and art lover Léon Lambert. Today the collection is not merely the reflection of the international image of the institution after a border-crossing merger, but through temporary exhibitions honouring artists as James Ensor, Peter Carl Fabergé and Yves Saint Laurent, or thematical expositions concerning Pop Art in Belgium and the Guggenheim collection, it also became an integral and dynamic player in the local arts and culture area. The exhibitions aside, ING also supports artists, designers and cultural events (such as the Belgian Art Prize, Nationa(al), Listen Festival and Music Chapel) and by doing this they contribute to present-day art in Belgium.
