Halle Gate

Halle Gate is a 600 years old fairytale monument, the most remarkable witness of the medieval past of the city of Brussels!

As the last vestige of the second city wall of Brussels, Halle Gate hosts a beautiful collection of works and multiple educational contents highlighting its history and that of the Brussels fortifications. The Neo-Gothic front and high roof added by the architect Henry Beyaert in the 19th century didn't diminish the splendor of the medieval rooms of the building. At the top of the tower, from the crenellated rampart walk, you'll enjoy a spectacular panorama of Brussels and its neighborhoods.
