The Brussels Museum of the Mill and Food is located in the old mill of Evere. A unique witness of Brussels’ industrial past, the mill is listed as a national heritage building and has lived through the major technical developments of the 19th and 20th century! The permanent exhibition showcases the world of milling through the evolution of milling techniques, the necessary steps to transform grain into flour, energy use throughout history and the history of the mill. Each year, the exhibition is completely changed in order to highlight a different - and delicious - aspect of food.
This museum organizes temporary exhibitions and activities concerning food and the history of milling.
