When it comes to climate issues, the most vulnerable remain the most exposed, while their voices continue to be marginalised within political ecology. Starting from this observation, Fatima Ouassak and Maya Mihindou, together with Arturo Escobar, Malcom Ferdinand and others, launch the manifesto Terres et Liberté. Fatima Ouassak, a French-Moroccan writer and activist, brings together ecology and anti-racist struggles. Maya Mihindou, a French-Gabonese illustrator and journalist, explores identity, memory and the traces of colonialism in her work.
