This workshop aimed for younger audiences invites participants to discover the Postcolonial? exhibition together with Congolese artist Justice Kasongo Dibwe and the museum’s educators. Participants will learn about stories of anti-colonial resistance and the struggle for independence.
They will also discover the art of Justice, a mobile installation of mechanical puppets narrating the colonial history of Congo. Inspired by this approach, they will create their own puppets and create a collective story with these different figures.
During his stay in Brussels, Justice Kasongo Dibwe will develop a new piece that will become part of the Learning Team’s handling collection, extending the exhibition’s educational legacy beyond its duration.
