The feeling that the time for doing something has passed - Joanna Arnow

  • Events

This film will be screened extra muros at Cinema RITCS.
Ann, a morose New Yorker in her 30’s, feels stuck in all areas of her life. To her dismay, the years have gone by quickly in her long-term casual BDSM relationship, low-level corporate job, and quarrelsome Jewish family. As she begins to feel increasingly alienated, she wrestles with herself and her relationships.
An ironic, scandalous and low-budget film, as well as symbol of the independent US film scene. Joanna Arnow is a young American filmmaker who has directed a few short-films before launching into her first feature film. This movie had its world première in Cannes in the Quinzaine des Cinéastes.
