Artist, author and architect Léa Brami led a series of three workshops in which participants created a large-scale textile work combining micro- and macro-histories.

Personal stories and the everyday archives that we create formed the starting point. The group explored how textiles can serve as a vessel for memories while also constituting a political and collective endeavour. Visit Atelier 2, Kanal’s print cooperative, and discover the textile creation. This event forms part of the joint programme with Midis Poésie, which has been bringing poetry and literature in all its forms to Brussels for 78 years. Together with a group of regular artists, Midis Poésie organises a varied programme of workshops, performances and readings, tying in with the various themes of the exhibition A truly immense journey.
