To mark the exhibition An infinite woman, Troubled Archives invited Brussels-based artist Agnès Lalau as its featured guest. Together with Magnone, she gathered a group of people for an intimate workshop on collodion photography.* During this session, participants took portraits of one another and discussed heroism, identity and the stories we preserve. The resulting images have been combined with portraits from the Troubled Archives collection, specifically cyanotypes or ‘blue images’ on glass, bringing together people from different eras as new heroes and heroines. Discover the portraits, alongside excerpts from the conversations recorded by BNA-BBOT, at this public presentation.
