In his new work Kosmos, created for KVS and Kanal, choreographer and dancer Seppe Baeyens explores the idea of a museum for everyone: a universe in which every visitor recognises themselves and feels welcome.

As with his previous works Tornar (2015), INVITED (2018) and Birds (2021) the audience plays an active part. You become a co-creator of a collective choreography that breaks with the familiar museum experience and leads you through the building, from the public spaces to the exhibition galleries and back again.
Through simple actions such as sitting, walking, turning, dancing and singing, visual and performing arts merge together. Performers appear and disappear unexpectedly, and together you create human landscapes. In this way, the museum becomes a place of encounter, wonder and shared experience – including your own.
