Amidst the hustle and bustle of the new museum and the city, Manon de Boer’s sound installation Blindsight invites you to slow down. Together with choreographer Latifa Laâbissi and sound designer Laszlo Umbreit, De Boer brings to life the voices of artists who inspire them, from Chantal Akerman to Beyoncé.

In this performance workshop, the M.O.S.S.S. collective invites you to discover Blindsight in a different way: whether alone or with others, you’ll listen to, look at and experience the installation through your body and senses. Inspired by the ecosystems that surround us, M.O.S.S.S. (Moving Observations on Surviving Soft Skills) creates spaces for encounter and collaborative learning that blur the boundaries between scientific knowledge and fiction. The collective works with cryptogamic plants (mosses and other plants without flowers or seeds), body-centred practices, sensory experiences and reflection to explore new ways of looking at and living in the world.
