For NEW! NOUVEAU ! NIEUW! bis, the museum is highlighting its new acquisitions, through the eyes of the team members. The staff were asked to each choose a one work and talk about it. The pieces on display give an impression of Brussels and invite reflection on the choices that shape the collections. In this way, the curators supplement the museum’s collections, taking into account the connections between the works, the museum’s missions and any potential shortcomings. The diversity of the people of Brussels, which mirrors the city’s richness, remains an important concern.
