Kanal - Centre Pompidou
Using salvaged objects and materials (wood, textiles, cardboard, everyday items, etc.), participants will be invited to imagine and build temporary spaces together that foster conviviality, interaction, and sharing. The process emphasizes intuition, collective listening, and creativity without any prior technical requirements.

This workshop offers an immersion into a free, collective, creative process accessible to all, centered on improvisation and the repurposing of recycled materials. Standing at the intersection of artistic experimentation and spontaneous design, it invites participants to explore new ways of conceiving and inhabiting space.
The workshop also provides an opportunity to reflect on our patterns of consumption and our relationship with resources, demonstrating that it is possible to create meaning, beauty, and connection from what already exists.
At the heart of this initiative lies a desire to create a meeting space between different parts of the recycling chain. On one side are the people involved in waste-flow management (sorting, handling, logistics), whose practical, everyday expertise is essential but often invisible. On the other are those involved in transformation and design (designers, architects, creatives), who reinterpret these materials and give them new uses.
Objectives:
• Stimulate creativity through improvisation • Encourage collaboration and collective intelligence • Explore sustainable alternatives for creating spaces • Enjoy a time of connection and sharing No technical skills are required. All that matters is the desire to experiment and create together.
