A short film The Watchman, by artist Ali Cherri, tells the story of a guard who spends long hours alone in a watchtower. Little by little, he begins to dream and see strange things…
What is he thinking about? What might he see around him? Animals? People? Monsters? Fantastical creatures? Or perhaps something that exists only in dreams?
Children are invited to make up their own story and let their imaginations run wild. They then create their characters and settings, before learning how to bring them to life, frame by frame, using stop-motion!
