As part of the temporary exhibition ART DECO. Style in a changing society, we invite you to an exceptional evening lecture dedicated to the origins and rise of Art Deco in Belgium.

The exhibition curators, Cécile Dubois and Werner Adriaenssens, will explore the birth of Art Deco in our country, its historical context, and the key figures who helped shape this style, balancing tradition and modernity.

Their bilingual presentation (FR/NL) will highlight the evolution of Art Deco, from Belgium’s participation in the 1925 International Exhibition in Paris to iconic achievements in Brussels and beyond.

After the lecture, extend your evening with a free visit to the exhibition, enjoy a friendly bar, and experience a Roaring Twenties dance performance by the artists of Danse Culture.
