After more than ten years, sitarist Anoushka Shankar returns to Bozar for an exclusive European tour. Daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar, she is a leading figure in Indian classical music, but also an artist with a personal and contemporary musical identity. She is an exceptional instrumentalist, producer, film composer and activist for women and refugee’s rights. She’s the first woman to have received the British House of Commons Shield, and was the first Indian musician nominated for a Grammy Award - she has a total of 9 nominations!
