Through the Acoustic Power project, we introduce high school students to the overwhelming power of an orchestra. In this eighth edition, they discover how captivating classical music can be: emotional, narrative, and technical. We start with an accessible workshop, fully tailored to the class. Afterward, the students attend a concert at Bozar, featuring short, accessible pieces performed by the Belgian National Orchestra.

Each participating class will take part in two 50-minute workshops at school prior to the concert. These workshops are an integral part of the programme and are therefore mandatory for all participating classes.
To ensure smooth organisation, schools must register with at least two classes (a minimum of 40 students in total).
The workshops can be organised either as two 50-minute sessions spread over two weeks at the same time, or combined into a single 2-hour block, depending on what works best for the school.

Students will have the opportunity to:
? become familiar with instruments and their role in the orchestra
? learn to listen to, describe, and analyze music
? discover major symphonic works
