The year 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of Art Deco, but also the 50th anniversary of the Van Buuren Museum and Gardens. To celebrate this double anniversary, the Fashion & Lace Museum is lending the latter four iconic silhouettes from the Art Deco era.

The year 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of Art Deco, but also the 50th anniversary of the Van Buuren Museum and Gardens. To celebrate this double anniversary, the Fashion & Lace Museum is lending the latter four iconic silhouettes from the Art Deco era. Two daytime pieces and two evening pieces, bold, modern and imbued with the aesthetic renewal of the post-war period, fit perfectly into the van Buuren collection.

For the first time, the Fashion & Lace Museum is exhibiting its ​‘Fontaine Lumineuse’ evening gown attributed to Jeanne Lanvin.
