Giac Taylor

Giac Taylor is the solo project of Giacomo Panarisi. It all started in January 2021, when « il signore » Panarisi decided to make the most of « lockdown ». Isolating himself in his studio with his sound engineer, Moorad Agjij, he began working furiously on a lifelong goal he has always wanted to achieve ; recording a solo album in less than a week. The concept is simple : wake up, compose tracks, record them the same day and finish an album in 7 days ; thus the name of the project « One Week/One Record presents Giac Taylor ».

From this experience, four albums were recorded, « First Of All … Fuck You » (January 2021), « Jesus Loves You But I Don’t » (March 2021), « Dead Man Shoes » (June 2021) and « The Last Sicilian Standing » (December 2021), the latter being recorded in less than 24 hours.

On stage, Giac Taylor is accompanied by experienced musicians and trusted friends, with his first concert taking place in March 2022. Since, the project played more than 150 gigs across Europe (Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy & Belgium) touring with band such as Fuzz, Earth, Danko Jones, Triggerfinger, Nashville Pussy, Lords of Altamont, the Murlocks, HooverIII, Unida, Charles Moothart, Osees, Slift … In October 2024, they played at the famous Desert fest in Antwerpen & in 2025 at Les Nuits du Botanique in Brussels & at Les Chariots Furieux festival in France.

His musical style can be defined as Giallo - Stoner” & the release of his first official album The Last Sicilian Standing” was the 14 february 2025 via the french label Le Cèpe. In January 2025, they went to record their second album Chunk” at the mythical studio The Rancho De La Luna (Joshua Tree, US) … produced by Dave Catching (Eagles of Death Metal, Mojave Lords, ex-QOTSA, Desert Sessions, …), its released is scheduled for September 2026.

Long story short, « Covid-19 created a rock’n roll monster and his name is Giac Taylor »Spout Big Space

The band’s name comes from a typo. The five members of Spout Big Space live in Schaerbeek. Axel and Mathieu have known each other since kindergarten. Jacob and Max met in a musical theater troupe. The band has changed drummers several times, with a commercial pilot, a European civil servant, a mover, and a Macedonian percussionist taking turns.

Arnaud Guich is the latest addition, playing the saxophone. Axel’s father is the doctor for most of the band members. Spout Big Space’s music is a mix of Fidlar-style garage punk, Fat White Family-style madness, and weird, dark atmospheres. You’ll find it somewhere between the Sonics and theatrical post-punk.

Their second single, One Too Many,” will be released on September 26, accompanied by a video directed by Simon Vanrie. It’s a slow and oppressive atmospheric garage dub track, somewhat reminiscent of Bauhaus’s Bela Lugosi’s Dead.” One Too Many, the new EP, will be released digitally on October 10 and is already available physically on 62 Records.
