Since its creation in 2022, the Cassandra Choir has been giving a voice to some of the major issues of our time. For these two concerts marking the end of the 2025 – 2026 season, the 80 choristers will perform a repertoire exploring the theme of social justice, the result of a whole year’s work.
Equal rights, peace and migration will be at the heart of a programme featuring works by Muse, Steven Paulus and Melissa Dunphy, as well as several feminist songs, including Rosa Zaragoza’s luminous anthem A la luz de la risa de las mujeres. Conducted by Laurence Renson, and accompanied on piano by Andrés Soler Castaño and Gilles Carlier, they will offer you a rich musical celebration of togetherness, diversity and hope.
