We are very happy to announce that we are adding two films by Bianca Baldi to our collection: Play White (2019) and Hear her calendar system a year of thirteen months (2025). To mark the occasion, we have invited the artist to select a film from the argos collection to screen alongside her own on the 20th of May. She remembers having seen The Natural Look by Steve Reinke in Berlin over 10 years ago and yet the work still resonates with her today. In the spirit of resonances and dialogues across time, it is with one quote of each artist that we are presenting the next 20/20 Vision screening. Join us for an evening dedicated to life and history as open narratives, fuelled by fleeting experiences, unexpected interconnections and embodied memories.
Play White (2019) by Bianca Baldi, 10’45
Hear her calendar system a year of thirteen months (2025) by Bianca Baldi, 19’07

(all films are in English, with English subtitles)

20/20 Vision is our monthly micro-cinema night at argos: a shifting line-up of moving images and video works, from shorts to features, from the archive and beyond. With only 20 chairs for 20 spectators, we gather around for a programme shaped around a topic or a filmmaker. In the first half of 2026, 20/20 Vision unfolds alongside our exhibition Becoming Ancestors, with each edition approaching ancestrality from a different angle. We open the bar, ladle out hot soup, and invite you to sink into a collective viewing experience. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes provocative, always a little unexpected. The programme is designed to spark conversations or maybe even disagreements.
