Nocturnes: every Thursday evening, another look at Brussels' museums

The full programme for the 21st edition of the Nocturnes is now available!

Want to go behind the scenes of the Museum of Natural Sciences and its repository of hundreds of specimens? Are you up for a "burlesque tour" of the collections of the Musée de la Ville or a feminist rereading of Belgian history at the BELvue? Do you need a back massage in the latest exhibition at La Fonderie? Or just want to visit the Rinus Van de Velde exhibition at BOZAR outside a busy weekend and for a reduced price? Then the following is for you.

Every Thursday from 21 April to 9 June, 5 to 10 Brussels museums in the same neighbourhood will open their doors from 5 to 10 pm and offer an unusual and contrasting programme in the indefinable atmosphere of an early evening at the museum.

In addition to the discovery of temporary and permanent exhibitions, the Nocturnes offer four types of programming: original guided tours, behind the scenes and access to storage rooms, artistic workshops and extra-muros walks through the various communes of Brussels: no less than 63 museums have planned everything to make your eyes glaze over!

The Nocturnes remain at the advantageous rate of €5 (standard) or €2.50 (-26 years) per museum. Some museums also open free of charge.

Access to special animations is by reservation only, so don't wait too long to have a look at the programme. And if you just feel like visiting an exhibition, that's also possible, either by reservation or on the spot in the evening.

See you on Thursday 21 April for the grand opening in Schaerbeek. In the meantime, make a good selection!
