Stéphane Mandelbaum – Jewish Museum of Belgium

Stéphane Mandelbaum, a real shooting star from Brussels, compulsively produced series of haunting drawings over a period of ten years before being murdered by the mob when he was barely 25 years old. Jean Colin (1881-1961). A Family Album. - Centre d'art de Rouge-Cloître

In this exhibition, the Centre d'Art de Rouge-Cloître reveals the hidden treasures of realistic painter Jean Colin. Far from his perfectly controlled public career, the artist also used to illustrate summer scenes involving his family and loved ones making for a perfectly bucolic getaway-exhibition for impressionist and fauve lovers.
