National Museum of the Resistance

Resistance, concentration and extermination camps.
The National Museum of the Resistance increases the visitor's awareness of a dark period of our history. It preserves, among other things, numerous documents and archives about the organization of Resistance and its actions during the two world wars, testimonies about nazi barbarism, the War of 18 days, prisoners of war, provision of fresh supplies, collaboration, nazi suppression, racism, armed resistance, civil resistance, escape lines, etc. The museum vouches for a historical heritage, plays a memorial role and spreads a message of peace to avoid such events to happen again.
