Museum of the City of Brussels (Maison du Roi / Museums of the City of Brussels)

Art and history of the City of Brussels
The Museum of the City of Brussels is dedicated to the city’s history. Its origins, its development over the centuries and the life of its inhabitants are illustrated with sculptures, tapestries, altarpieces, engravings, paintings and models of the city. Furthermore, the original version of Brussels’ most famous resident, Manneken Pis, is preciously preserved, along with his collection of costumes, in this magnificent Neo-Gothic building.
