Garden of Medicinal Plants Paul Moens (Museums of the UCL at Brussels)
Living collection of medicinal, condiment and toxic plants.
This garden is an educational tool primarily aimed at pharmacy, medicine and dietetics students. It consists of an enclosure of about 20 ares surrounded by a 2 ha 50 park. The enclosure has 400 plots of herbaceous plants and sub-shrubs arranged according to the classic, systematic order of modern flora. It contains medicinal, condiment, food and toxic plants and is limited to indigenous or acclimatized plants. The park contains around one hundred tree and shrub species for medicinal use planted in no particular order. The park also contains the Sculpture Garden.
