Description: In this very unusual place, you will not only learn in great detail how to make "Gueuze" beer according to traditional methods, you will also experience it, as this museum doubles as a operational brewery from October until March each year. Visitors are taken through the various rooms and follow all the production stages of this exquisite beverage. The brew house marks the starting point of the festivities, followed by the grain loft, the boiling vats, on to the cooling bed where the beer achieves its slow fermentation, then the cask room and finally the moment of truth - when the ale is tasted. The Gueuze beer produced by the Cantillon brewery is the last remnant of a Brussels specialty dating back to the Middle Ages. Discover and savour this heritage will all your senses.
